Pat Verrall has a lifetime's practical experience as a gardener and plantswoman and has had many years' experience in the nursery trade. She has a particular interest in wildlife and field botany.

Her formal qualifications include the City and Guilds Certificate of Gardening (Merrist Wood) and the L.O.C.F. Certificate in Advanced Garden Design.

Pat is a founder member of Surrey Garden Design Group, a Corporate Member of the Institute of Horticulture, a Corresponding Member of the Society of Garden designers and, for six years, was General Secretary of the Wild Flower Society.
